We like to move fast around here! Things have been just a little crazy as we have sold our house and have found our perfect family home near Cottage Lake. We had a buyer that was a mutual friend who was interested in purchasing our home and we figured since we would not have to list it or use a realator that it would be a great time to sell. Our plan was to rent for 6 months to a year and scoop up a great deal in either Woodinville or Snohomish area, however we found a house in Woodinville that was for rent and for sale, so we are doing a lease to own deal and are super excited about it!  We love the area and the school district is top notch. Here are just a few pics of the new place. A few perks of the property are it backs up to a horse pasture and also has a trail off the backyard that connects to the Tolt Pipeline. Great neighborhood with little boys Noah and Drew's age. Dog friendly area for our little escape artist of a dog Annie!

Fun in the snow!

the beginning stages of the snow.

not quite enough to sled yet, but Noah sure gave it a good try.

first snowman. Noah loved that he was bigger! We built a really big one, but did not get a photo on my camera.

Drew is loving the sled ride he's getting from cousin Tanner.

Photo op down our street with a neighbors snowman. We also used their driveway to sled!

found a big hill a few blocks away to do some serious sledding. Of course Noah requested a ride up the hill!

It's been about a week or so ago, but we had some pretty awesome snow here that lasted about a week. We got at least 12 inches here at the house and made the most of it with some fun sledding and snowman building in the backyard. It was fun while it lasted, but to be honest, I was real happy to see it go since we were house bound for a few days and even lost power for two days! Until next year snow!

We had Noah's birthday party this past Sunday at Jump Rattle and Roll, which is a bouncy house place in Monroe. It was AWESOME! They set everything up, we had an hour and a half to play and both kids and parents had a blast. After play time we headed up to the party room for pizza, veggies, fruit, and ice cream sandwiches. My friend Lacy made the cutest and yummiest cake balls for Noah's party and they were Toy Story themed. Ham the pig and the alien from the movie. They were a huge hit and we are still enjoying a few of the left overs! Only one friend from preschool couldn't make it due to the snow, but everyone else ventured out in the snow for the party. Noah had a great party and loved having all his buddies there!

Noah and Drew stats.

Now that Noah is 4 and Drew just had his 18 month well check I thought I document their progress.

Noah weighed in at 41 lbs, which puts him in the 87th percentile. His height was 3' 7.31", which put him in the 96th percentile. He's getting to be such a big boy!

So, I just went and looked for Drew's stat printout and can't find it anywhere. :( I do know that he was about 25 lbs and was in between the 65th and 75th percentile for both height and weight.

We got rid of the bottle a few weeks back and Drew has adjusted pretty well to the sippy cup. He has been using one during the day with water, but only wanted the bottle in the morning, before nap, and of course before bed. It took about a week for him to get over the bottle, but I stuck to my guns and didn't give in this time. I had tried once before a couple of months ago and after two days of him refusing the sippy cup, I went back to the bottle so that he would at least drink his milk before bed and when he woke up. I'm thinking he just wasn't ready to give it up at that point. For now we are doing great and I'm really proud of what a big boy he is becoming!

He is also staring to string words together which is fun and he gets really excited when we repeat what he says and play along with his little conversations. So fun and so cute! His tantrums on the other hand are not so cute! I know it's just a stage and we'll get through it, but oh my the screaming can really make your ears ring! Oh the joys!

a very Merry Christmas!

look what Santa brought Noah! He was so excited and ready to give it a test drive at 7:30 am!

and he's off!

Drew was very impressed with his gift from Santa as well. Noah was eager to give it a try too.

Noah showing Drew how to get his goodies out of his stocking.

now were talking!

Happy boy!
Christmas came and went this year, but it was great! Lots of time with family and the boys got spoiled as usual. Noah got his quad from Santa like he wanted and Drew got a cozy coupe car that he and Noah both love. Noah got lots of cool Toy Story stuff, new clothes, and some more legos and Drew got some cool new blocks, camo rain boots and some new jammies. Orlin and I kind of cheated this year and bought our own gifts partly because what I wanted I had to buy on a certain day before Christmas to get the sale price at Nordstrom with my Mom's discount. I got new boots that I love and a new down jacket and Orlin got the bbq that he has wanted for a long time. We are both very happy with our gifts, but will probably not do that again cause it took a little of the fun out of it. We did do our stocking for eachother like usual, so that was good, but next year we are going back to basics!
