Spring Break.

Last week Noah was on Spring Break, so we decided to get out of town and were able to go to Whidbey for a couple days and then to Chelan for the weekend with my Mom. Orlin was busy working all weekend, so I figured Chelan would be a fun trip since we hadn't been over since last summer and I was able to help my Mom with a painting project in the basement. It was a really nice weekend and the kids had a ball playing outside and going out to eat at Sorrento's, which is at the winery where Orlin and I got married almost 8 years ago.

Cousins Tanner and Mandy, as well as friends Kiersten and Kyle were also on spring break, so they were able to join us on our trip to Whidbey, which was really fun for all the kids. Karisa, (Kiersten and Kyle's Mom) was able to come for the first day and enjoyed some time at the beach. Tanner and Kyle are good buddies and Kiersten was a big help with the little ones, so it was a nice getaway for everyone.

Tanner and Kyle decided to build an underground fort and dug a huge hole.

Kiersten got a little camera happy and took some cute pics of the kiddos.

Easter 2013.

We had a wonderful Easter this last Sunday and the best part was the 70 degree weather we had! We spent our morning with Orlin's family and went to church with his brother and wife and then had a yummy brunch back at their house in Ballard. The kiddos had a fun egg hunt and both boys had fun finding their own basket of goodies. Later that afternoon, we headed over to my parents for another egg hunt with the cousins and enjoyed being out back soaking up the sun!

Museum of Flight.

last Friday we headed to the Museum of Flight for a fun day with the fam. I had gotten a groupon deal for two adult tickets, which expired the end of March, so we convinced Daddy to take a day off work and had a really fun day together. The weather was so beautiful and it was a nice treat just to be out in Seattle for the day. The boys loved all the old airplanes and Noah and I even sat in a fighter jet simulator, which was pretty cool. The space exhibit was awesome and we even got to walk in the space shuttle. The highlight was definitely the outdoor exhibit where you could tour a couple of airplanes in and out. We had lunch outside and were able to watch all kinds of airplanes take off and land, which was super cool for all of us. Since Orlin used to be a pilot for Horizon Air, we couldn't do this trip without him. He has since gotten the itch to get back up just for fun and may even take us on a few family trips. Makes me a little nervous, but I know it would be fun.

Noah was very excited to see the airport fire truck on duty!
