Mother's Day Tea.

I almost wasn't able to go to this year's Mother's Day Tea, but thanks to a nasty cold that Orlin had, we changed our travel plans from a trip to Kentucky and decided to stay local. Drew was also a part of this year's tea since for the last couple of months, he has been in the Young 3's class, which made it even more special for me to be there. Seeing both of my guys up on stage singing songs for me and seeing all the beautiful things they made was perfection! I loved all of it and my Mom and Mother in Law were also there to share the special morning with us.

They did so good and I was so very proud. I was a little nervous for Drew, especially since he hadn't seen me in a couple of days, but he did great!

Carrie's Baby Shower.

My dear friend Carrie is expecting her first baby on May 29th and so a few weeks back we had a baby shower that was held at her parents house. They are not finding out what they are having, which is torture for some of us, but we are all very excited for the big day. She has decided to decorate the room in a peacock theme, so it was really fun to see all the cool things she received. She is the last one in our group of friends to have kids, so it's been so fun to go through this process with her and I look forward to sharing mommy woes and advice with another good friend.

Fun days at preschool.

a couple of weeks back Noah had a special week at school called "The week of the young child" and since I was in charge of taking pics for their memory books, here are some of the pics. They also had a visit from the local Maltby Fire Station, which was super exciting for all the kids.
Tuesday was stripes and polka dots day. Love those goofy faces!

Rachel, Olivia, and Micah. I think there may be some polka dots of stripes hiding under that jacket! ;)

Wednesday was movie and popcorn day. It was very exciting watching that popcorn pop!

Thursday was princess or superhero day. Here are the princesses.
