Noah's first T ball team.

Back in the Spring we had heard about a team through WLL called the Marauders that was practicing at Wellington and also had a few of Noah's classmates on the team. One Friday afternoon, I was chatting with a team Mom and was told that if Noah wanted to get on the team that he still could. I didn't really think he would be interested since he hadn't shown any desire when we asked about it in the past, but when I mentioned that they were practicing at his school and that three of his classmates were on the team, he was all for it! We went to the practice and watched to make sure it was something he wanted to do and to my surprise, he was very excited to get signed up and start. He settled right in with his new team and the coach was awesome as well. Orlin was able to help at most of the practices and games which was fun for Noah. Great season and with all the practice, Noah improved tremendously over the season. The coach is already excited to keep the team together for next year which will be coach pitch. We are excited for a fun season next year!
all ready for his first game.

nice hit buddy!

Run!

Drew tried his best to fit in with the team. He wanted so badly to be in the dug out whenever possible and always managed to get a snack at the end of every game thanks to the coach's wife.

cool kid with the hat backwards.

Drew got a few good hits in after one of the games.

Easter 2014 in Chelan.

This year for Easter we didn't have any set plans and so we decided to do our own thing and head to Chelan for a little Easter celebration of our own with just the 4 of us. We headed over on Thursday and enjoyed a fun day on Friday with some bowling in town and went to dinner at the BBQ at Chelan Winery, which is my most favorite place to go. The ribs are to die for! Our friends from Winthrop, Marc and Sara and their kids Macy and Arlen came over Friday night and stayed till late Saturday afternoon. We had a fun night of catching up and the kids had a blast playing and staying up late watching a movie. We went to a yummy breakfast at Blueberry Hill and then checked out the egg hunt in town for the kids. They loaded up on candy then went back to the house to do their own hunt in the yard. Easter morning the boys enjoyed their treats in their baskets and then we made a big breakfast at home and headed to Tsillan Cellars for their egg hunt. It was a beautiful day and we also enjoyed seeing my friend Shawna and her family there as well. Fun egg hunt for kids and adults and I even scored a discounted bottle of wine! This might need to become a yearly tradition because it was so fun to celebrate such a fun day in Chelan.

sleepy heads excited to see what the Easter bunny brought.

Easter buddies. Pretty special place this is since we were married on that same patio almost 9 years ago.

Soccer Tot's for Drew.

Back in early April Drew was able to finally start his very own sport, which was soccer through Scott's Soccer Tot's in Woodinville. Noah had done a couple of sessions last year and liked it, but didn't really love it. Drew was super excited to start and had a great time at every practice. He was always eager to go and put a lot of effort into each practice. Drew's little friend Carson from preschool was also in his class which made it even more fun for him and for Mommy since his Mom Tambi and I are friends. Great season of soccer and we are now excited to give t ball a try.
