Awesome Weekend!

This last weekend was kind of a teaser with the weather we had on Friday and Saturday. Friday we made it out to the park after nap time and then Daddy came down after work and played with us for awhile and we were all were loving the warmth of the sunshine! We went to mexican for dinner and all enjoyed a yummy meal. We had a little excitment right as we were leaving though. My friend Jenn had come down to see us for a few minutes cause her parents live right up the road from the reasturant and right before she got there Noah popped in a candy that we got with the bill and he was sucking on it for awhile and then when we asked to see it, he accidently swallowed it. It went down ok but somehow it got a little hung up in his asophagus, (not sure of spelling on that) and was causing some serious pain for Noah. He was really upset so we had him drink water and walk around for a minute to see if it would go down. We got in the car and he was still in pain, so we decided to head for Evergreen and then all of a sudden it was gone, "all better Mom"! Phew, that was a close one!  We did have a nice little drive through the Evergreen campus though and we reminded Noah that both him and Drew were born there so that was kind of cool.
headed to the park with the sunshine in tow!

Drew likes the Wii that Tanner won at church. Jayme, (my sissy) had filled out a card for Noah to attend the Sunday school class, (which he wanted no part of) and because we were a new member that they brought, they gave them a Wii game! Pretty awesome if you ask me!

Noah helping Grandma Winnie blow out her candles! Happy 89th birthday Grandma!
Saturday we decided to skip out on a birthday party and head for Alki Beach instead. A classmate of Noah's had invited him to her bday party and it was going to be at the gym inside at their preschool. The weather was soooooo nice that we really could not bear being inside on the nicest day of the year so far, so I opted out the night before via email and explained that we needed to have some family time, which really is the truth anyway, so I didn't feel too bad. It was awesome! We left around 10:30 and were prepared with snacks, sand toys, stroller and walking attire, so we were set. We played on the beach for awhile and then went to Pegasus Pizza & Pasta. I had a Groupon for it so for $15 we had $30 to spend there so we had a great greek salad and an awesome pizza. Everyone including Drew loved the pizza! After lunch we packed up and walked along the waterfront for awhile and you would have thought it was the middle of summer out there. We saw people rolling down the strip with windows down and radio's blasting and even saw a few girls in bikini's! It was a nice day, but I'm not quite sure 65 degrees is bathing suit weather! We headed home and enjoyed the night by playing outside, cleaning up the yard, and bbq'd some salmon. I really can't take credit for the yard clean up part because that was all Orlin and Noah, but it was nice to look outside and see them enjoying themselves. Drew also had his first ride on the tractor with Daddy and he did much better than we had expected! He rode for a good 5 minutes or so and then was ready to be done. Sunday Noah and I went to church with my sissy and her family and then we had Easter brunch at our house with both sides of the family. Yummy food and great time with family. The weather was not so great, so we did an indoor egg hunt for Noah, Tanner and Mandy and they all enjoyed it. Noah and Drew got pretty spoiled by the Easter bunny and Noah has been trying to sneak candy every day since! Sunday night we headed to my Grandma Winnie's to celebrate her 89th birthday! She's still living on her own, healthy and doing great and we all feel so fortunate to still have her around to see the family continue to grow. I believe Drew is great grandchild #18!
Unfortunately Monday was rainy all day and today has not been too great either, buuuutttt I am heading out of town on Friday morning to Palm Springs! Wahooo! I am meeting my friend Jenn there and cannot wait to have three days of hot sun! My Mom is watching the boys on Friday and Orlin will have them all weekend. I will miss them dearly, but can hardly wait for a nice little get away! I'll try my best to bring a little sunshine back with me!

Favorite pics and memories of Noah.

Noah was born Christmas eve 2007. He was 8 lbs 1oz and was 21 inches long. He was due the 29th, so I was sure I was in the clear until after Christmas but he decided to come early and be our Christmas present. Best present we ever got!

So I started this whole blog thing awhile back and I've really enjoyed documenting our lives over the last few months, but it's really gotten me thinking about how much of Noah's life that we have missed out on in here so I thought I do a little recap if you will. I'm going back to day one and will include our favorite pics and memories of him. This could  get a little lengthy, so you'll have to bear with me.
