August already!

I'm getting a little lazy about blogging lately and I'm thinking this beautiful weather might have something to do with it! In the last couple of weeks we have been busy with a fun Chelan trip, lots of Woodinville Whiskey events, and even a trip to the zoo with Daddy! Last week Orlin was crazy busy with work, so the boys and I and my niece Mandy headed to Chelan for a few days of fun! It was an awesome trip and having Mandy there was the icing on the cake! Noah and her play so great together and he was completely entertained the entire time! My Mom and Dad were around to help out with the boys and since my Mom was working during the day she could stay at home with Drew while he napped and that meant that Noah, Mandy and I could go play at the pool! Perfect trip and a good way to pass the time while Daddy was busy with work. Noah got to practice his swimming while in Chelan and really mastered getting around by using his feet and hands. We had a swim lesson when we came back and I could tell that the pracited had helped. He actually swam a short distance all by himself without sinking!
Since Orlin had to work all last weekend he took yesterday off and we went to the Zoo! We all had a great time and loved seeing all the fun animals. Orlin loved the penguins and Noah and I loved the orangatans the best. We also ended the trip by seeing the bears, elk, and wolves which Orlin loved as well. Noah and I had not been there in a year and to my astonishment, Orlin had never been there so it was good for us all to go.

Boppa and his grandkids! We were missing Tanner on this trip cause he had a football camp that week.

Boppa was brave enough to swim in chilly pool with the kids! I hung by the side with Drew and took photos!

fun boat ride on Boppa's boat.

Since Noah is really not into photos lateley, I had to trick him into this one by telling him to find the baby duck in the water. The hand on Mandy's back was all him though! So cute.

Yummy dinner at Chelan Winery bbq. The hula hoops were great entertainment for the kiddos.

took the kids on a fun walk in our neighborhood and enjoyed the view from the top of the hill. Noah wanted me to carry him home he was so tired!

this would have been good had my hair not been a wet mess!

Drew's favorite new spot to play at home!

loving the sights!

such a cute guy all snuggled up with his blankie!

Noah loves it when I hold both him and Drew! He says "you've got two babies". They really are my two babies and always will be!

Drew is helping Grandma Doris play piano!

We had a wonderful birthday dinner at the Sorensen's last night to celebrate three special birthdays. Orlin's 35th, sister in law Annie's 30th, and Grandma Doris's 90th. It was a very fun evening and my Mother in law went above and beyond again to make it very special for all of them.
