Easter weekend.

What a weekend we had! The weather was fantastic and we had fun with family all weekend! We had some family pictures on Saturday with the Sorensen clan and thankfully all went well with the kiddos! The pictures were done for my MIL's 60th bday and since it had been years since we all had taken some together, it was the perfect time to get them done. I was kind of dreading the pictures just thinking that it would be stressful getting the boys to cooperate, but they did so great and I was quite proud of them! We have been able to view them already and many of them turned out really cute.  We hosted an Easter brunch at our house with both sides of the family and had lots of food, family, and fun! Unfortunately, both my Mom and Mother in law were sick, so we didn't have them with us. Also, my BIL Justin, his wife Annie and their baby girl Eva were also not able to make it, so we were short a little family, but still managed to have around 20 people here!We had a total of 6 kids, so it was really fun to set up the hunt and watch all the kids run around the yard with excitement. We even had a silver and gold egg with a cash reward, and my nephew Tanner found both!

a perfect Friday night for us! Dinner outside, campfire, and smores of course!

on those rainy days, the scooter is sure fun indoors! Drew is trying to get me in this one! He got me!

Easter bunny came around 1:00 am! Got a little busy making egg dishes and cleaning.

so excited to see what the Easter bunny brought! Noah has really wanted a Razor scooter, so he got one since Drew has adopted his old 3 wheeled one.

and they're off!

The Grandma's had fun watching all the kids looking for the eggs.

Drew did pretty good for his first real hunt!

We had a rainy afternoon yesterday, so we got in our jammies early, made hot chocolate and turned on a little Caillou. The boys were in heaven! Notice Drew's new hairdo!
So we have been toying with the idea of cutting Drew's hair and since we got the professional pics taken on Saturday, I went ahead and took him to get his first haircut on Tuesday while Noah was at preschool. It was kind of a rash decision and I had tried to get ahold of Orlin to let him know, but he didn't answer so I went ahead and did it. Bad wifey award goes to me! :( He was a little bummed that he wasn't there to see, but thankfully I took quite a few pics. He looks like such a big boy now and is talking so much lately. For the last couple of months he has been putting little sentences together and it's so fun to have little conversations with him now. Can't even believe that he will be 2 in less than three months! Time sure flies when your busy having fun with 2 toddler boys!
