Whidbey getaway.

a couple of weeks ago we headed to our place on Whidbey for a little getaway with the fam. I had been over there the weekend prior for a little girls trip, which was lovely, but since it was open the next weekend, we decided that it would be fun to have a little family time at the beach. We left on Thursday afternoon and had a beautiful sunny day on Friday, which was perfect for playing on the beach. Noah came prepared and brought two pairs of swim shorts so he could take a dip in the ocean. We played along and let him go for it and once he felt that water, he changed his mind. ;) Even though the sun was out it was still pretty darn chilly. We made a yummy seafood dinner and had a beach fire with some smores which was a perfect way to end the day. Uncle Ty and Jaclyn joined us on Saturday and we met in Langley and had lunch at my favorite place called Prima Bistro. It's a little fancy for Orlin's taste, but everyone enjoyed their meal. The guys took the boys back home and Jaclyn and I headed out to a couple of wineries on the island, which was really fun since I had never done that before. Uncle Ty brought his remote control helicopters, so the boys were in heaven. After the boys went to bed the adults enjoyed a few drinks by the fire and had a great night. Such a fun weekend and I am so looking forward to getting over there more with the boys as the weather gets a little warmer.
