Drew's 3rd birthday party was back at the end of June and it was a beautiful, sunny, and super hot day. Orlin and I had spent the majority of the weekend painting our shop and house because really, why not add a little extra stress to a birthday weekend! Thank god for the shop during the party so we at least had some relief from the blazing sun and it was also a perfect airy space for all our guests. We invited family and close friends to Drew's basketball themed party and everyone had a great time. Especially Drew. He got to show off his new hoop and we were fortunate enough to be able to borrow a bouncy house from Jaclyn's parents. Her parents own a daycare and had a nice big one for us to use. I had gotten Jaclyn a cupcake tin for her bridal shower and she was so excited to use it, she offered to make the cupcakes for his bday party. I was more than happy to let her and they turned out fantastic! Drew received some very nice gifts and then we ended the party with a slip n slide party in the yard to cool off.
